i THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS PARISH COUNCIL MEETING held on Wednesday 11th May 2016; these were approved and signed
ii THE MINUTES OF THE EXTRA-ORDINARY MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL held on Wednesday 1st June 2016; these were approved and signed.
4/16 WARD COUNCILLORS’ AND POLICE REPORTS
5/16 i Ward Councillor Jonathan Lester reported on Herefordshire Planning Committee’s approval of Planning Application 160016, for 12 houses on land adjacent to Stoke Lacy village Hall, saying that there were no firm grounds to refuse it, in spite of the Parish Council’s and other objectors saying it wa too much, too soon. Long explanations, debate and discussion then ensued. Cllr Lester thanked the Clerk and Mr Russ Baum for speaking at the planning meeting. Councillors also expressed their thanks to him and to Mrs Pauline Baum.
Other matters: Budget consultation on 28th July; 6 unaccompanied child asylum seekers were now resident in Herefordshire; southern link road had now been passed, subject to judicial review; future of 1 Ledbury Road
The members of the public left at 8.15pm and 8.20pm.

6/16 i Draft accounts from 1st May 2016 to 30th May 2016 as distributed: APPROVED.
6/16 ii The following payments were approved:
- Payment of Clerk’s expenses of £29.57 for the Tea Party for HM Queen’s 90th birthday party (shared with PCC): approved
- No invoice for hall hire had been received
- Complementary membership of ALCC (formerly SLCC) to October: noted
- Annual Return to external auditors noted
- Lengthsman’s quotation for various works along the A465 footpath and Bredenbury Lane were noted and discussed. The Clerk was authorised to ask the Lengthsman to undertake the works to Bredenbury lane and to spray the footpath with roundup and cut the grass. The overgrown hedge would need cutting back by the farmer in due season

The Parish Council agreed to the request from the Footpaths Officer that a letter be sent to Mr Martin Barrett asking that a replacement cattle warning sign be erected by the stile in Herb Lane
